Do I need a qualified electrician to install GridDuck hardware?

The GridDuck Hub, Smart Plug, and Meter Reader are ‘plug-and-play’ devices and their install will not require a licensed electrician. These are the devices included in the trial kit, so you can try the GridDuck system without having to pay for installation.

However, GridDuck CT Clamps, 16A/30A Relays, and Smart Inline Cables will require an electrician to be installed, as they need to be integrated with the electrical systems on site.
