Future and Potential Solutions
As we have developed our product over the years, we have found more and more potential use cases for GridDuck. For us, this is one of the most exciting parts about building a SaaS offering from the ground up.
Just as we did not foresee every current GridDuck use case when we started out, we know that there are many more uses for our technology yet to be implemented. We welcome the opportunity to realise new ideas presented to us by clients, partners and investors.
For example, our technology has the potential to do complex grid balancing thanks to our Advanced Rules feature. We have been able to put these rules to great use so far, but they could also benefit totally self-sufficient businesses with large scale wind or solar infrastructure.
Another potential use case is carbon reporting and balancing. Because GridDuck allows you to view exactly how much energy each appliance is using in kWh, our system can help businesses to precisely calculate their carbon footprint.
